My background is in travel, initially in Customer Services and latterly as a CIPD – qualified HR Officer, responsible for recruitment and selection for a major airline.
I joined Connect as a candidate initially, taking a long-term HR contract through them for a well-known PLC in Slough, before coming to cover absence in the Connect offices. I had no experience of ‘agencies’ prior to doing so and it was clear to me from the outset that their values are very much the same as my own – based upon understanding the needs of your customer and going that extra mile to provide them with the best possible service.
Six years later, as part of the Temporary team I’m playing my part to ensure those standards continue.
