Temporaries Consultant at Connect Recruitment

I came to recruitment having worked in Contracts Management in IT and was keen to apply the same level of service provision in a people focussed industry. I joined Connect when the company had been trading for 7 years and following a comprehensive training programme culminating in qualification with the REC, I decided to focus on the Temporaries side of the business as it matched most closely with the fast-paced, deadline driven environment I had been used to.

After a number of years I left to develop my skills and experience, taking up roles as Business Manager for a large corporate recruiter and Account Manager in Pharma and Telecoms with global market leaders.

I was delighted to re-join Connect in 2012 to work with the Temporaries team. I’ve found the interim experience gained invaluable, seeing first-hand the effect of bringing the right people into a business and the consequences of getting it wrong!

I’ve now been with Connect for over ten years in total, and it’s great to be part of a business insistent on quality over quantity, where the appropriate time can be afforded to both candidate and client relationships. It is important to me to work with people who I respect and admire and that is true for Tricia and our great team in equal measure.
